1. SURVEY CONCLUSIONS:
The reason for the survey is to know how to serve you best. It is very interesting to get to know who make us up as a community and a movement. My intent for the year is to design programs that reach right to your need and want:
WHO DO YOU KNOW EFFECTED BY TYPE-II DIABETES:
92% know someone effected by type II diabetes. Only 8% do not.
The percentage either having type-II diabetes or living with someone was 33%. That's a third of the homes receiving this email.
A quarter of us have workplace relationships involving type-II diabetes and
58% of people have an aquantinance with type-II diabetes.
WHAT IS THE PERSON DOING ABOUT TYPE-II DIABETES
Of those with t2d, 79% are using pharmaceuticals, 50% have lost quality of life, with 43% looking at the possibility of severe effects such as surgey, loss of vision, loss of hearing, neuropathy aor amputation.
21% said they have t2d controlled through lifestyle, with no medication, to the point of having no life effects. 29% said that through self-care and home support, the person is making his or her own treatment choices.
Of those who have gone to an allopathic M.D., an almost equal number of people of people have done exactly what the medical system suggested (46%) as have simply taken the doctor's advice into consideration (50%).
17% have seen a holistic care provider.
An important figure: 21% are confused about what to do.
Very Important: 38% are willing to look at reversing type-II diabetes naturally through culture of life live-food cuisine.
HAS THE PERSON MADE A GO AT THE ANTI-DIABETOGENIC LIVE FOODS LIFESTYLE?
This question gave some very interesting information:
53% of the respondents said they have never tried the live food lifestyle.
13.3% said they tried it, stopped, and would try it again.
0 said they tried it, were disappointed, and would not try it again.
27% said they tried it with partially successful results, and are now somewhere less than 80% with live foods.
Also, 0 said that they have done live foods with success and remain at that level.
To me, this data says that the potential for learning, healing, and most of allsupport is wonderfully high.
53% said the movement to revese diabetes naturally, the live foods lifestyle approach, is based on valid science either very much or exceedingly well, with 29% saying they didn't know. 12% said the science was adequate, and 6% said there was a little sicence, but there could be more.
75% said the information was presented in an understandable and useful way., with 25% saying they didn't know.
74% said they had gotten meaningful inspiration out of the movement so far.
56% of you said you felt support for you was strong at the events and classes of the RDN Movement in the Bay Area, and 0% said this support was lacking. This is important to know.
44% said they didn't know how good the support is that they receive at events and classes. This is very important.
Furthermore, while 31% said that the follow-up support over time, such as tools and coaching (after the inspiring and informative events,) was adequate, very good, or exceedingly good.
6% said it was less than it could be,
63% said that they didn't know how good the follow up support was.
The facts mean that the providing of supportive classes and events is something that you are very, very curious about!
That is why I asked the next question:
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME AND BRING YOUR FRIENDS TO?
- Film screenings
- Licensed healthcare providers teaching
- Food preparation classes hands-on, from the garden to the plate
- Energetic, breath, and body movement classes
- Work for civic change in the food that is provided in programs
- Peer support from other people who have healed their diabetes naturally
The combination of services is well-chosen, because the ALL got favorable reactions by more than a majority!
QUESTION 5 on page 2 concluded that, clearly, the most important things to you are:
(1) access, ease, and convenience with the foods and superfood supplements, and
(2), support and counseling with your personal nutrition path and your motivation
Further analyses will come about the survey's results. Thank you for your participation.
