My mission as a filmmaker has always been to highlight people, ideas, processes, and things that work, and which still have yet to be used by humanity to their full potential. I like to inspire people to learn of new things in their field, to think of alternatives that are commonsense, and to get inspired to see the possibilities they hadn't yet seen. A slogan I used early on for my first film company, Environ-Mental Productions, was "the vision vehicle," because I desire for my work to carry visionary creations into their potential for bringing betterment to Earth.
"Ecoparque is one of the best environmental films in the world as far as understanding a paradigm shift towards ecological local development, made by a sensible yet brilliant filmmaker." - Independent Media Center
"Simply Raw is one of the most inspiring films I have ever seen." - T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D., Author of The China Study
"Henry and Dovid immediately hooks the intellectually curious viewer." - The San Diego Jewish Journal
With me you get entertained, stimulated, and possibly become willing to try new things. This may cause a transformation in some part of your worldview, and even change the way you do business, eat, treat the planet, or relate to your spirit.
Also, each of these films made me, more than the other way around. They truly, unequivocally wanted to be born, and I could not stop them.
My full set of videos actually shows to some degree the interests that I have traversed through my entire life. I think in some way, although they are real things filmed as they actually were, they cover futuristic concepts that are already becoming reality. What is filmed is the first flowering into our world of these futuristic realities, and in that way they explore and capture precious gems for the world. In our children's lifetime, it would be not surprising if the ecological, spiritual, social, medical, and dietary aspects covered in my body of work becomes manifested as much more the normal reality to our children in their lifetime.
Here is the logo that my company, Environ-Mental Productions, used in its most active independent period, 2000 to 2004, before I worked almost exclusively, film-wise, on Simply Raw from 2005 to 2009. Definitely cool!

The Marin Independent Journal put me on the very cover of the main section with this article.
The Novato Advance newspaper highlighted my path to being interested in making Simply Raw: Revering Diabetes in 30 Days with this article.
For upcoming screenings of Simply Raw, please go to its very own website and click on "Upcoming Screenings".
I'm speaking on live food nutrition in a video interview here.
As always, my gratitude is renewed every day for all the partners who taught me the power of media filmmaking, especially starting in 1999 with Aaron Feiger, Taylor Sharp, the UCSD Communications and Visual Arts Departments, and many others to numerous to mention. Equally I thank all my subjects who have agreed to an interview for their inspired, important work and dedicated service in the world.
